Minister Pehin Yahya to pay working visit to China on agricultural Cooperation in May ,2009

Invited by H.E. Mr. Sun Zhengcai, Agriculture Minister of People Republic of China, Pehin Yahya, Minister of MIPR, Brunei Darussalam will pay a working visit to P.R.China on agricultural Cooperation during May 4th to 8th , 2009.

On May 4th, Brunei delegation signed MOU with the Agriculture Ministry of P.R.China for strengthening bilateral agricultural cooperation in Beijing. The delegation will also visit Hunan Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of P.R.China and visit local agricultural research institutions, enterprises and food processing plants.

The minister will also meet Brunei participants from Department of Agriculture who are attending Training Course on Rice Breeding Technologies organized by the Department of Agriculture, Guangxi, China during they visit Nanning.
